We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and lively receptionist to join our friendly team at Twinlakes Park. This is an amazing opportunity to join our busy and expanding team, you will work closely with the office manager, park manager and director.

ARE YOU:

  • Confident, enthusiastic, and able to communicate well both written and verbally
  • Able to engage with visitors and answer enquiries.
  • Able to work as part of a team but also confident in working and carrying out tasks alone.
  • Experienced in a similar customer facing role

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Various admin tasks including group bookings, preparation including financial records.
  • The ideal candidate will have a great telephone manner, reception experience and knowledge with basic admin duties including MS Office Suite.

This is a part time position covering Sundays and Mondays. Full training will be given but basic knowledge of office principles is essential. Farm Animal Keeper

This role requires a hands-on approach working within our  Farm; we are looking for a responsible and dedicated individual to join our animal team on a full-time basis. The successful individual will ideally have a broad-base of animal knowledge – experience working with a range of animals or within a petting farm environment is desirable but not essential. You must have a flexible approach whilst being engaging, confident, approachable and keen to learn new skills whilst focusing on animal welfare and visitor engagement. In addition to the daily tasks, this position also includes taking part in, and delivering, daily animal encounters with visitors (Covid-19 restrictions apply).

• You must be confident, enthusiastic, and able to publically speak to large groups of people

• You must be able to engage with visitors and answer enquiries

• You must be able to work as part of a team but also confident in working and carrying out tasks alone

• Animal care qualifications are desirable, but not essential. Ongoing in-house training is given.

• Assisting with general site maintenance including the emptying of bins, sweeping, weeding and cleaning.

• Day to day care and husbandry of all animals including sheep, goats, equines, rabbits/guinea pigs, aviary birds and poultry.

• Diet preparation, animal observation and record keeping.

• Assisting with veterinary care when needed.

• Full clean UK or EU driving licence and own car preferable due to location.

• Strict adherence to safe working practices and high standards.

This is a full-time position, starting time will be 08.00 am daily, however, flexibility is essential and more hours may be required during peak times including school holidays, special events, lambing etc. Hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage.

We are Twinlakes Park, The East Midlands No.1 family day out. We are always seeking quality and reliable staff to join our very busy team. We have exciting opportunities for retail and café rangers. We are looking for happy, confident individuals who can work independently and have the motivation to run their own retail outlet for the day or to work in a team in one of our Cafes. No two days are the same at Twinlakes Park. One day you could be working independently, in our gift shop or in one of our ice cream shacks, the next as part of a fun and friendly team in on one of our Cafes. Your main duties will be displaying stock effectively, taking payments, operating tills, processing food orders and to maintain a clean work environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and lively Cash Office Assistant to join our friendly team at Twinlakes Park. This is an amazing opportunity to join our busy and expanding team, you will work closely with the office manager, park manager and director. Your duties will also include reception work and you will also help the theme park team, booking office including phone lines, entrance gates and even retail outlets inside the theme park.

ARE YOU:

DUTIES INCLUDE: 

  • Overseeing our accounts department including handling cash and balancing reports.

The role requires a knowledgeable gardener with strong communication skills to assist our gardening team with a wide range of duties. The successful applicant will be a reliable and capable gardener with the ability to either work on their own or part of a small team. Plant and lawn care knowledge advantages but not essential as training will be given.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Working to a time schedule for each job.
  • Using hand and or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape maintenance such as Mowing lawns, Trimming shrubs, Planting, Lawn Fertilising, Lawn Aeration and Scarification, Raking, Leaf clearance, Hedge trimming, Pruning, etc.
  • Use of manual hand tools such as pruners
  • Use of cutting / vacuuming equipment
  • Ability to work in most weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry
  • Ability to load/unload from a vehicle
  • Additionally, employees are expected to abide by all internal control & compliance practices to:

Catering Manager

Catering Manager

We are looking for an outgoing experienced, hardworking Catering Manager to join our friendly team. You will need to be flexible and committed, providing training and supervision to ensure that a high standard of service is delivered to our customers.One day at the weekend is to be covered.

DUTIES:

To ensure the effective running of all the food establishments in the Park throughout the day

To motivate and guide the Team Leaders within each section, to ensure that all employees are working to the best of their abilities

To evaluate each employee within the catering department, to ensure that they are given positions to which they are most suited and adapted to

To continually monitor the suppliers of food products, to ensure that Twinlakes are stocking the best and most cost effective products.

To develop and draw up interesting menu’s for each eating establishment, with attention to whether such menu’s would be workable and feasible

To calculate the correct costing for each food product/menu

To be aware of eating trend/habits and making adjustments to the menu where necessary

To develop good relations with suppliers and ensure the best discount as possible

To be aware of the stock levels, and re-order goods when necessary

To ensure all stock arrives in time for use, and is stored correctly

To carry out other duties as required from time to time.
