Full & Part Time Receptionist

Full & Part Time Receptionist
We are looking for an enthusiastic and lively receptionist/customer relations colleague to join our friendly team at Twinlakes Park. This is an amazing opportunity to join our busy and expanding team, you will work closely with the office manager, park manager and director. Duties include:
  • Overseeing admissions, office duties and admin work
  • Various admin tasks including group bookings, birthdays and annual pass holder info
  • The ideal candidate will have a great telephone manner, reception experience and knowledge with basic admin duties
  • Passion and drive for excellent customer service.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Work independently and part of a team.
Starting time will be 08:00 am daily and will be required to work one weekend day, however flexibly is required and extra hours/days will be required during peak times. Current positions available:
  • 1 x position working set days Tues - Sat (5 days),
  • 1 x position working set days Sun - Weds (4 days).
Please state at time of application how many days you would like to work.  Hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage, this position is paid hourly not salaried therefore you receive payment for all your working hours. Gardener

Gardener
The role requires a knowledgeable gardener with strong communication skills to assist our gardening team with a wide range of duties. The successful applicant will be a reliable and capable gardener with the ability to either work on their own or part of a small team. Plant and lawn care knowledge advantages but not essential as training will be given. Hours: 4 - 5 days per week, start and finish times can be flexible for the right candidate. Duties include: - (and not limited to)
  • Working to a time schedule for each job.
  • Using hand and or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape maintenance such as Mowing lawns, Trimming shrubs, Planting, Lawn Fertilising, Lawn Aeration and Scarification, Raking, Leaf clearance, Hedge trimming, Pruning, etc.
  • Use of manual hand tools such as pruners
  • Use of cutting / vacuuming equipment
  • Ability to work in most weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry
  • Ability to load/unload from a vehicle
  • Additionally, employees are expected to abide by all internal control & compliance practices to:
  • Safeguard assets from theft and misuse
  • Comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

We are looking for an enthusiastic and lively Accounts & Admin Assistant to join our friendly team at Twinlakes Park. This is an amazing opportunity to join our busy and expanding team, you will work closely with the office manager, park manager and director. Duties include:
  • Overseeing our accounts department including handling cash and balancing reports.
  • Various admin tasks including group bookings, preparation including financial records.
  • The ideal candidate will have a great telephone manner, reception experience and knowledge with basic admin duties including MS Office Suite.

This is a full time position covering 5 days per week. Starting time will be 08:00 am daily and will be required to work one weekend day, however flexibly is required and extra hours/days will be required during peak times. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Engineer to join us at Twinlakes Park. In this role you will create memorable experiences for our guests by keeping our rides and attractions operating at the peak of efficiency and safety.  Working within our maintenance team you’ll use your passion for getting the job done in the most efficient and effective way possible. You’ll look for opportunities to find long term solutions, not just make a quick fix. You’ll be empowered to make decisions and you’ll genuinely want to make a difference.  The experience and safety of our guests is our key priority, and you will have a direct positive impact on this. We are looking for the following skills and experience:
  • A fully qualified & experienced engineer who can bring a wealth of maintenance experience to the team As well as technical ability, we’re looking for a detailed person who thinks outside of the box.
  • You will need to have a keen eye for detail.
  • You will be expected to follow and understand written instructions and you will be a good communicator who is able to produce accurate written reports
  • To undertake repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
  • Prioritise system faults
  • To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
  • To ensure quality of output at all times
You’ll be a supportive team member, who’ll work closely with colleagues, park manager and directors on the best solutions to problem solving. The role is full time, permanent, averaging 40+ hours per week and will include 1 day at the weekend and bank holidays as required. Salary/hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage. and 28 days holiday.

Immediate Start

There are opportunities for career advancement. Experience in amusement rides not essential.  Training will be provided in troubleshooting maintenance and repairs of rides across the park. Full Time Farm Hand We are looking for an outgoing, hardworking member of staff with practical experience of working on a farm. Duties will include:
  • General care of the animals in the farm; cleaning enclosures, feeding etc
  • Considerate approach to looking after the welfare of our animals; check cages are always secure etc.
  • Assisting with interactive activities with the customers.
  • Ideal candidate will have the relevant full qualifications in animal care at level 3 or above.
