How do your rides operate?
Some limitations on attraction availability may be in place on your visit, a list is available below of currently CLOSED attractions. We will be working hard to get these areas running again as soon as Government and BALPPA guidance says it is safe to do so. Please listen to our team members at all times, they are here to help and to maintain a fun and safe environment for you and your family. You may have to wait a little longer than usual whilst our team clean between ride cycles, here are the steps we all must take when approaching, riding and acting whilst on our rides/attractions:
- Maintain social distancing (2 meters from other visitors) when in queue lines, ride platforms and when loading/un-loading rides
- Sanitise your hands when asked to do so
- Wait with your family within the indicated areas. When the indicated area in front of you is empty, step into the next section with your family
- It is not possible to choose your seat. All seats are allocated and clearly marked. Some seats are kept vacant to adhere to social distancing
- Leave the attraction as soon as possible when your ride has finished and the ride operator confirms
- Aid younger or vulnerable people in your family into and out of rides where possible, to reduce close contact with staff members
What attractions/rides are currently closed and unavailable?
Please see the top of this page for the most up to date information.
At present all indoor buildings, the farm park and falconry are closed.

Do I need to wear a face mask/face covering at the theme park?
Should you wish to visit, we kindly ask that you respect the safety measures we have put in place.
Bring a face mask or face covering. Due to new Government guidance from 8th August 2020, all guests aged 11 years and over must wear a face mask or covering in all indoor areas on-site, unless medically exempt
Similarly, our team will not be required to wear any form of face mask unless their role requires it due to hygiene practices in place, for example, ride operators or first aid teams. Our team members are also given the option and access to PPE to wear including masks/face covering should they wish to wear one for their personal comfort.
What are your opening hours?
Currently we are open 10am – 5pm. Times are subject to change; however, our website will be updated. Please check website for the days we are closed (off-peak mid-week dates outside of the holidays).
Toilet facilities
Increased cleaning regimes are in place. Guests will be asked not enter whilst cleaning takes place. Please ensure you use toilet facilities as promptly as possible and leave them in a clean manner as you’d expect to find them yourselves. Do not allow children to use facilities on their own. Some cubicles may be closed to maintain distancing; these will be clearly marked. Ensure that you maintain 2m from people whilst using facilities.
Do you have sanitiser stations?
We have a large number of hand sanitiser stations around the Theme Park, and would also recommend you bring your own so you can use whilst walking around the Park. Although sanitiser is handy, it does not replace a good hand washing hygiene regime. Please follow the advice of the UK Government, NHS and PHE by washing hands for a minimum of 20 secs before eating, drinking and after visiting our farm and toilet facilities.
How long can I stay at the park?
We have no restriction on the length of time you can stay with us, but we please ask you to comply with the rules. If any member of your family feels unwell during your visit please leave immediately, do not come in contact with any team members or guests. Please call us once safely in your car (whilst not driving) to tell us about your visit so we can log, track, trace and implement any additional hygiene requirements.
When should I not visit?
We respectfully ask that people take responsibility for their own health and the health of the community before visiting us. Please do not choose to visit the theme parks if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have any underlying health conditions that may put you or others at risk. If you are vulnerable in any way, it is your responsibility to make the right choice for yourself and others around you. Please follow the advice given by the UK Government, PHE and NHS. We can only operate when everyone works together.
Are your cafes open?
We are currently only opening our outdoor food and drink outlets. Please click the Food, Drink & Shop tab for more.
Can your farm animals contract the virus? What are you doing to protect them?
Our Farm Park is currently CLOSED. However, we check daily with experts on the effects COVID-19 has on animals. At present you cannot touch any of our animals to avoid the potential effects on them and to stop the transmission from customer to customer. Any animals that we know can definitely be affected will be moved further away from the public and/or taken off display. Our dedicated farm team have been working hard to ensure our animals are taken care of and will continue to put animal welfare first.
